Tons of help and support today

Today shows lots of activity from viewers and readers.  Thank you very much.  I am all-together a feed-back type of guy.  Quite honestly I can overwhelm those around me as I express what I feel and why.  Only in the past few years I found the discipline to temper my feelings with tact, timing, and context.

That said, I still rely heavily upon communication to give me insights to where I am.  Frankly, I have little self esteem.  I tend to gravitate towards people who like me, because if 'they' like me, then I can like me.  This is a terrible place to be, but it is the place where I am - for now.

I splurged with food today.  I had a second cup of yogurt.  Terrible, I know, right?  :-)  Get this, in about 20 minutes I'm going to have half-a-cup of icecream.  Real. Solid. Delicious.  140 calories - very worth it.

As I head back to work tomorrow I'm faced with trying to figure out how to eat.  I'm aiming at 1200 calories per day for the coming week.

My tentative plan is have half-sandwich, 4 halves between 0700 and 1500.

Each half will be about 150 calories.   I will augment those by adding a cup of yogurt at 0700, pistachios at 1000, and a banana at 1300.   I'm guessing I'll hit just under 1000 calories during the day.  I'll add in a couple-few hundred calories for dinner and that will be that.

I've read about basic metabolic rate - some folks tell me my body will burn about 2000 even just laying in bed all day.  Now, I believe that...so - will move from 1200 up towards 1500 - then 1800 as I become more-active in my fitness (3 x weekly, 1 hour).
