Brought my calories up - sodium too high, although maintained a good amount of water intake.
Biggest challenges today: I thought I should lift today, and I have not. Am scared it'll 'decide not to' more often. Have to stop that.
Also; PAINS me to eat. So scary to put more food in me when food 'caused' this.
Remember, you are feeding a machine. You want that machine to run hot, keep it rolling Brutha!
ReplyDeletewhat John said :) Your blog is very inspiring, thank you for sharing. As scary as food is right now, one day you will enjoy it again, in healthy, fresh, natural forms that keep your body energetic and strong.
ReplyDelete"Food" did not cause anything....the wrong kind of food and maybe too much of food, but not food:) Stick with lean meats, hummus, no cheese, make your own salad dressings with fruit, vinegar and olive oil! Eat smart carbs.....whole wheat pasta....pretzels instead of the Ritz. I know what to do.....just hard to actually DO lol!! Do you like fish? Eat that 3 times a week with sauteed vegetables with olive oil and garlic, have a small piece of fruit in place of the carb. I take turkey and put it on a Carb Balance tortilla with some Pine Nut Hummus (Sabra I think) and just roll it up, better after it sits a bit.
ReplyDeleteYou can do this!!
Food did cause it - specifically me eating too much food. Food/body did what it's programmed to do. My actions - of course, directed things. I don't blame food per se, but I'm scare of food all the same.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU all VERY much. Feeling empowered by those in the fight with me.
AC, great comment! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for still reading..following, Suliko. Are those Vizslas in your pic? :)
ReplyDeleteYes, those are Vs and you know it! I have to say, they keep me in shape! :) BTW trying to start a new routine - fast-walking Sophie to and from the woods. About 40 min of fast-walking + 30 min leisurely walk while she's running and playing in the woods and pond. We'll see how long this lasts...
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're doing great and staying motivated! That's the hardest part for me - motivation :) Good luck and keep posting! I know, even if no one comments, they all read ;)
When my pup gets a little older I might pick up running (gasp) with her! I cleared more trails in the back yard to keep her interested. Might start hiding treats back there for her.
DeleteWell, technically you're not supposed to run them till they reach 18 mos :D So, might want to consider other alternatives in the meantime! You could hike with that little rascal :)
